Bibliography

Last updated: 2017-01-20.

These are the writers who have influenced my understanding of Jesus’ identity (Son of Man) and mission (kingdom of God). My focus has been on understanding the framework of Jesus and his audience (first century Palestinian Jews). Consequently, the bibliography focuses on the Old Testament, second temple literature, the Gospels, and secondary literature that helps translate their worldview into our twenty-first century democratic framework.

Please understand that I do not endorse all the views expressed in these resources. The best way to be stretched beyond what you already think it is to engage with people who see things differently.
